A laminação das pranchas está a cargo da equipa Wavegliders, Nico e Carlos.

O Ryan estará por cá até dia 26 e se quiseres encomendar um das suas pranchas entra em contacto ou vem visitar-nos.

We're honoured to have in our factory the shaper from Santa Barbara, California, Ryan Lovelace, from Point Concept Surfboards.

Glassing will be done by the Wavegliders crew, Nico and Carlos.

Mesmo a tempo das férias do Chris, o Hullio está terminado.

Pigmento amarelo com knee e tail patch, clear bottom, acabamento wetsanded gloss.

Yellow tint with yellow Knee and tail patch, clear bottom. Wetsanded gloss finish.

Hullio

O segundo modelo da linha Hullio, uma prancha inspirada nas Flex Spoons do George Greenough.
Mantem o mesmo bottom triplane da Round Hullio e os rails 50/50 mas mais finos e desta vez vez acaba num belo arc tail. Este tail mais largo em conjunto com um outline mais paralelo conferem-me maior velocidade mas é quando colocada no rail que mostra toda a sua magia.

Second model of the Hullio line, this one is fully inspired by the George Greenough Flex Spoons.
Keeping the same triplane bottom as the Round Hullio we thinned out a bit the 50/50 rails and added a beautiful Arc Tail. The wider tail and more parallel outline make her fly down the line but it's when on a rail that she shows all her magic.

Round Hullio

A primeira abordagem da Wavegliders ao mundo das Hull. Partindo do outline da Stubby, o Nico desenvolveu uma planning Hull, com um bottom triplane, rails 50/50 low volume, fin colocado mais á frente, S-deck.
É uma Hull mais fácil, com boa remada, boa para beach breaks pois a menor área de nose e tail permitem curvas mais apertadas. Uma prancha diferente para um surf diferente.

Wavegliders first approach to the Hulls world. Starting from the Stubby outline, Nico developed a planning Hull, with a triplane bottom, 50/50 low volume rails, fin forward and S-Deck.
It’s a more user friendly Hull that paddles well, great for beachbreaks where the narrow nose and tail make turning easier.
It’s a different kind of surfboard for a different kind of surfing.
